Hosting Terms & Conditions

  1. Server Access

    1. Restricted Access:

      The client shall not be granted access to the cPanel or any server management tools under any circumstances.

    2. Codendot Control:

      Codendot retains full control over all server configurations to ensure the stability, security, and integrity of all hosted environments.

    3. Prohibited Actions:

      Any attempt by the client to access, alter, or interfere with server settings, databases, or file systems is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of hosting services.

    4. Liability:

      Codendot shall not be held responsible for any malfunction, error, or security issue arising from code, plugins, or components not developed by its team.

  2. Software Hosting Support

    1. Scope:

      Software hosting support is limited to server-related issues affecting the availability and performance of the hosted software.

    2. Exclusions:

      Software bugs, errors, content updates, design modifications, feature additions, or third-party integrations are excluded unless explicitly included in a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA).

    3. Additional Work:

      Any work outside the scope of standard hosting support, including bug fixes, design changes, feature additions, or third-party integrations, will be billed at $40 USD per hour.

  3. Email Service Support

    1. Scope:

      Codendot is responsible solely for email accounts hosted on its webmail platform.

    2. Third-Party Email Providers:

      The client acknowledges that Codendot neither provides support for nor assumes any responsibility for issues with third-party email providers, including, but not limited to, Outlook, Gmail, or similar services.

  4. External Hosting

    1. Website Package:

      If the client opts to host the website on their own server, Codendot will provide a ZIP file containing the complete website package.

    2. Deployment Responsibility:

      Codendot is not responsible for deploying, installing, or configuring this package on the client's server, nor for any bugs, errors, or maintenance issues that may arise afterward.

    3. Third-Party Hosting Disclaimer:

      If the client hosts the website on a third-party server, Codendot shall not be held liable for issues, errors, and malfunctions related to the website code, configuration, or performance.

  5. Uptime and Maintenance

    1. Performance Commitment:

      Codendot strives to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

    2. Maintenance:

      Scheduled maintenance may occur periodically, and the client will be notified in advance whenever possible. Minor or temporary downtime may occur, and Codendot will address any issues as quickly as possible.

  6. Payment and Suspension

    1. Billing:

      Hosting services are billed annually and must be paid in advance.

    2. Non-Payment:

      Failure to settle payments by the due date may result in temporary service suspension and permanent deletion of all data after a reasonable grace period.

  7. Termination of Hosting

    1. Notice Period:

      Either party may terminate the hosting services with a three-month prior notice.

    2. Post-Termination:

      Upon termination, Codendot will provide the latest available website package, after which the software will be deactivated and all code and content permanently removed from Codendot's servers.

    3. Immediate Termination:

      Codendot reserves the right to suspend or terminate hosting immediately under the following circumstances:

      1. If the client's email service or provider is found to be sending malicious or spam emails.

      2. If the client adds, modifies, or interferes with any code, plugins, or scripts within the hosted environment without Codendot's explicit consent.
